Cookie policy

1. Cookies

Cookies are small data or text files that are stored on your local computer by websites and applications. Such cookies can have different purposes: there are technical cookies (for example for remembering language preferences), session cookies (temporary cookies that expire when the web browser is closed) and tracking cookies (cookies which track and store your behaviour on the internet in order to provide you with a better user experience).

The Belgian Electronic Communications Act of 13 June 2005 contains some provisions on cookies and their use on websites. The law is a transposition of the European e-Privacy Directive, which means that the cookie legislation can be implemented differently in other European member states.

PLASTIFLEX is an entity with a main establishment in the EU and therefore follows European legislation on cookies

2. Goal and purpose of cookies

PLASTIFLEX wants to inform every visitor of the website as well as possible about his rights under the Belgian legislation on cookies, and about which cookies PLASTIFLEX uses. By using the website, the visitor agrees to the use of cookies. Cookies help PLASTIFLEX to optimize your visit to the website, to recall technical choices (for example, a language choice, a newsletter, etc.) and to show you more relevant services and offers.

If you want to consult the PLASTIFLEX website, it is recommended that the technical settings for cookies be enabled. Without enabled cookies, PLASTIFLEX can not guarantee a smooth visit on the website. If you prefer not to use the cookies, you as a visitor are free to disable the cookies.

We use cookies to improve your visit to our website. The cookies we use are safe. The information we collect using cookies helps us to identify any errors or to show you specific services that we think may be of interest to you.

3. Types of cookies used by PLASTIFLEX

We distinguish the following types of cookies:

  • Essential cookies:

These cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be disabled in our systems. They are usually only set up in response to actions you have set, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in or filling in forms.

  • Functional cookies:

These cookies enable the website to offer improved functionality and personalization. They can be set up by us or by external providers whose services we have added to our pages.

  • Analytical cookies:

With these cookies we can track visits and traffic so that we can measure and improve the performance of our site. They help us to know which pages are the most and the least popular and how visitors move through the site.

  • Tracking cookies:

These cookies record analytical (anonymous) information about how you visit the site, with a view to improving the website and the user experience, but also to be able to advertise in a more targeted manner.

  • Targeting cookies:

These cookies can be set by our advertising partners via our site. They can be used by those companies to create a profile of your interests and show you relevant ads on other sites.

We use our own cookies on the one hand and cookies from carefully selected partners with whom we collaborate and who advertise our services on their website.
