Definition of the application

Central vacuum cleaning systems are powered by a large vacuum canister (also known as 'cans' or 'power unit') and are installed in e.g. the garage or basement of the home. They are often connected to a pre-installed or retrofitted plastic piping system within the walls.

This piping system which connects several rooms - via inlet valves - is then lionked to the centrally located power unit. Major advantages of a central vacuum cleaning hose system are the suction power of the unit, and the exhausted air is vented outside of the living area.
