When patients are mechanically ventilated, the airways are subjected to dry and cold air. This causes potential dry nose/throat issues, and/or inflammation of the airways.
To prevent these issues, the air is humidified using a pass-over humidifier. It's very important that this heated and humidified air does not cool down and cause condensation in the circuit connecting the humidifier to the patient.
This is prevented by incorporating a heating system into the wall of the ventilation tubing, thus maintaining the air temperature at a pre-set level and preventing condensation.
Based on our core competence of designing, developing and manufacturing highly functional plastic hose systems, we have developed a proprietary technology platform.
Through this platform, we have developed a number of innovative breathing circuits. Most notably, we have developed ventilation tubings that have a heating system incorporated into the wall, also referred to as Embedded Heating Wire Circuits (EHWC).
Our non-heated ventilation tubing is designed for patients who need mechanical ventilation.
Our typical clients are OEMs and Distributors / Manufacturers.
Our non-heated breathing tubes are used during mechanical ventilation, with or without active / passive humidification.
Our non-heated ventilation tubing is low-flow resistant and high-crush resistant.
Our non-heated ventilation tubing is spiral reinforced and have smooth interior tubing.
Classic RTOur heated ventilation tubings (FDA 510(k) approved and CE marked) are used to build (single and dual limb) heated breathing circuits for Fisher & Paykel's MR850 heated humidifier.
Fisher & Paykel's MR850 heated humidifier delivers humidified air to patients' airways to maintain the natural balance of heat and moisture during mechanical ventilation.
We also produce custom-made heated circuits for your specific needs / humidifier.
Our typical clients are OEMs and Distributors / Manufacturers.
Our heated ventilation tubing prevents condensation of water on the wall of the breathing circuit, while maintaining the temperature of the air delivered to patients' airways.
Our ventilation tubing is low-flow resistant and high-crush resistant, with heating wires incorporated into the spiral construction for optimal heating and optimal humidification.
Our ventilation products are spiral reinforced and have smooth interior tubing, with heating wires incorporated into the spiral construction. Our tubings come in different sizes and lengths, depending on your specific needs and patient weight (neonatal, pediatric, adult).
Upon request, we can design, develop and manufacturer specific intelligent tubings, incorporating heating, sensing and other functionalities.
