On September 18th, 2025, Plastiflex Group signed an agreement to acquire from ContiTech the machines to produce hoses for professional cleaning
Plastiflex is a world leader in the development and production of tubing systems and components for healthcare and non-healthcare applications. Plastiflex Group generates annual revenues of close to €200m and operates 12 manufacturing facilities across the world.
Subject to the fulfilment of certain closing conditions, the machinery used by ContiTech to produce hoses for the professional cleaning market will be acquired by the Plastiflex Group. The machines, which are currently located in ContiTech’s Italian facility, will be transferred to Plastiflex’s factory in Kezmarok, Slovakia.
Plastiflex plans to transfer the machines immediately after this date, so production in Slovakia can be started up as soon as possible.
With this acquisition Plastiflex reinforces their leading market position in the supply of hose and component solutions for key industrial markets.
